Autonomous Administration.. system that breaks shield of tyrants’ sanctuaries

The Autonomous Administration is subjected to a systematic smear campaign at all levels. Although the regional countries have long sought to strike the Autonomous Administration system through military attacks, occupation, siege, and others, the question that arises is; who are these parties and what are they seeking?

The Autonomous Administration is an administrative model that embraces all the peoples of the region under its roof, as the various societies ensure their representation within this administration. In contrast to the nation-state systems that do not accept any word for individuals, groups or parties, and do not accept even least criticism, the system of Autonomous Administration is characterized by the will and the public attitude. It is important to know how the smear campaigns against Autonomous Administration are thwarted, and how can any ordinary individual within the community express his/ her views and ideas about Autonomous Administration?

First of all, we must refer to Middle Eastern societies based on the foundations of domination and tyranny, rejection and punishment, and the guarantee of the interests of the nation-state. If the nation-state that was established in the twentieth century still exists and is able to continue, this is due primarily to the system of tyranny, exclusivity and centralization. Otherwise, an authoritarian regime would not have been able to remain in power for 20 or 30 continuous years. Repression, persecution and injustice would not have turned into a pattern and a form of life, and societies would not have been so easily calm.

The nation-state is essentially based on oppression and persecution which aims to build a society that serves the interests of some groups and segments. This is the real police state, army state or gang state. This feature and characteristic, despite the differences and variations from one country to another, it is the main feature and the prevailing system in all countries of the Middle East.

Accordingly, let people not criticize the state or demand accountability for this prevailing system, and that individuals are not even able to express themselves. In Turkey, for example, anyone who criticizes the president faces imprisonment. The situation is not different in other countries.

The other side is the opposite and completely different. In other words, the alternative to the central state, or the nation-state, is the democratic nation. The regime in place today in the regions of North and East Syria is the nucleus of the democratic nation.

In the democratic nation system, the societies are the owners of the will and the decision. The administration is not from the top, as is the case in the nation-state, and everyone has the right to criticize the system, or talk about the system, and this right is sacred and guaranteed to all.

The Autonomous Administration, unlike autocratic and centralized nation-states, embodies the nation's democratic identity. It is for this reason that the parties who consider the nation-state as an indispensable tool for survival in power continue to be hostile to the nation's democratic system. These parties are working to discredit the administration.

And if we look closely, we will not find people who can express their opinion and criticize in any nation-state, as much as it exists within the borders of the Autonomous Administration. Anyone who easily criticizes the Autonomous Administration can see the vast difference between the two systems. It is enough for them to remember the previous regime in which they lived. For example, during the rule of the Baathist regime in Syria, every small word against the regime was enough to be a reason for imposing sanctions, but in the Autonomous Administration the matter is different. Likewise, each individual within the Autonomous Administration can freely express his/ her culture, religion, sect, and ethnic affiliation. This is a free personal entitlement. But in Turkey, for example, everyone is Turkish, and this is what is required by the constitution of the Turkish nation-state. Other than that, everyone is subject to punishment because of identity, belief and language, and it is the laws that establish this matter.

Our pain, our suffering or our sanctities should not be in the service of the capitalists and authoritarians and should not be a tool for colonialism. Certainly, sharp criticism is also necessary in order to achieve a more democratic and free system. Errors must be corrected, and the system should do the best without deviating from the basic approach.
