​​​​​​​Martyrs' families appeal not to allow occupation of Southern Kurdistan

Since the 23^rd of last April, the Turkish occupation army has been launching brutal attacks on Southern Kurdistan, with the aim of eliminating the Kurdish people and erasing their existence.

On this subject, a number of families of martyrs of the People's Defense Forces and the People's Protection Units spoke to Hawar news agency, denouncing the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Southern Kurdistan towards the policies and attacks of the Turkish occupation state, and expressed their rejection of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's participation with the Turkish occupation to confront the Guerrilla forces.

Ibrahim Othman, Martyr Othman's father and the brother of two martyrs indicated that they, as the martyrs' families, adopted the path of patriotism and sacrificed their sons so that the Kurdish people could enjoy freedom and peace away from the wars that the Turkish state has fabricated since hundreds of years until today.

Concerning the Kurdish infighting, Ibrahim stated that "the Turkish state, after its military loss in front of the Guerrilla forces, resorted to the policy of creating strife among the Kurdish people, through which it was able to drag the Democratic Party to the brink and make it antagonize its brothers.

He also explained that as Kurdish families, they were supporters of Mulla Mustafa Barzani's revolution in the liberation of Başûr Kurdistan (Southern Kurdistan), and today they sacrificed their blood in the Kurdistan Liberation Movement without discrimination to get rid of the Turkish occupation and its fascist mentality."

In turn, Rewshen Abdullah Rashid, Martyr Reber's wife and the sister of two martyrs, noted that "the Democratic Party should not be drawn into the policies of the Turkish state in creating sedition and Kurdish infighting because the goal of the Turkish state is to break the Kurdish people's will and create differences among them to serve its occupational interests."

Rewshen confirmed that they consider the Peshmerga forces as their sons, and the Democratic Party must realize this and stand beside the Guerrilla forces in the face of the Turkish occupation because the occupation of Başûr will pave the way to the occupation of Rojava and all of Kurdistan.

Rewshen appealed to the Kurdish people to revolt against the occupational policies of the region.

In turn, Ali Haji Ahmed, Martyr Diyar's father added, "What is happening today on the ground is a war of existence or non-existence because what is being practiced against the Kurdish people from the Turkish state's use of all internationally prohibited weapons amid regional and international silence indicates this."

Ali Haji Ahmed stressed that, as the martyrs' families, they are ready to sacrifice more martyrs thanks to the thought and philosophy of Leader Ocalan to liberate every inch of Kurdistan land.

At the end of his speech, he appealed to the Kurdish people, Kurdish parties and religions to unite the Kurdish ranks and declare national unity at a time when we desperately need it.
