16 days after AANES representative, PYD members' abduction in Southern Kurdistan

On June 10, the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces abducted the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Jihad Hassen, in Hewlêr and two members of the Democratic Union Party Relations, Mustafa Khalil and Mustafa Aziz, while they were on their way to Erbil Airport to receive guests.

Since that day, the security forces of the PDK government have not revealed their whereabouts nor the reason for their abduction despite the demands made by the Autonomous Administration and the Democratic Union Party for them.

The Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration issued a statement on the first day of their abduction, saying, "We see that these measures increase tension and weaken the course of dialogue. We hope that no parties in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) and at this sensitive stage will be drawn into any sedition projects led by Turkey to ignite Kurds against each other and disrupt the path of historic transformation that the Kurdish issue has reached," demanding to disclose their fate and release them.

On the 7^th of this June, the authorities of the Kurdistan Democratic Party arrested the young Juan Abdel Karim al-Mohamed when he was on his way to Başûr Kurdistan (Southern Kurdistan) through the Semalka crossing, accompanied by his sick mother for receiving the medical treatment, and his fate is still unknown as well.
