The deputy co-chair of the Girê Spî District Council Sabri Nebo in an interview with ANHA commented on the recent events in the city of Manbij.

Sabri Nabo said at the beginning of his speech that those stalking the success of the Autonomous Administration project that was formed to serve its people and achieve their demands in light of peaceful coexistence and brotherhood of peoples and achieving equality and social justice, always aim to stir up strife in its regions to thwart its achievements at all service, political and military levels. It was through inciting sedition or carrying out assassinations through its agendas located in the areas of the Autonomous Administration, with the aim of inciting the people against the administration.

The security services in the northern and eastern regions of Syria were able to dismantle several cells that were found during interrogation that they were carrying out assassinations against clan figures to stir up sedition and accuse the administration of inciting the sons of these clans against the administration, as happened in the city of Deir Ezzor when Sheikh Mutashar al-Hafal was assassinated.

Regarding the recent happenings in the city of Manbij, Sabri said that the Autonomous Administration project is still new and that the parties who see it as a threat are always trying to create a rift in it to thwart it, and to distract the people who are located in the geography of the administration’s areas from what is happening in Syria in general from the economic crisis, and distract them from thinking about liberating the occupied parts of their land.

Internal and external parties took advantage of a demonstration that took place last week in the city of Manbij at the fifth anniversary of liberation campaign from ISIS mercenaries, and these parties began to sabotage and pit the components against each other and against the administration, but the awareness of the people and the administration contributed to extinguishing the strife that was fueled by agendas working in favor of the parties hostile to the Autonomous Administration.

During his speech, Nabo touched on the status quo in Turkey-occupied areas, including displacement, kidnapping, looting of property and the settlement of mercenary families instead of their original residents, in addition to the systematic demographic change, warning against reviving extremism from those areas again.

Their documentation through sources from within those areas revealed the presence of a large number of ISIS amirs in them, in addition to the presence of associations that operate under the guise of goodness and humanity, but it turned out that they fuel fanaticism and religious extremism through the lessons they give in the schools that they opened under Turkish sponsorship.

Nabo called on all the people of the north and east of Syria, with all its categories, components, sheikhs and dignitaries, not to be drawn into the strife created by the hostile parties to the Autonomous Administration, such as the Turkish state, the government of Damascus and the conflicting forces in Syria, because they are trying to strike the security and stability, and to join hands and support the Syrian Democratic Forces that are standing like an impenetrable dam in the face of those who aspire to occupy more Syrian lands and aspire to build a free, democratic, decentralized and pluralistic Syria.
