During demonstration ... Afrin Yazidis denounce demographic change in their city

Under the slogan "Afrin Is Our Dignity, We Are Guerrillas For Afrin", hundreds of people of Afrin gathered today in the Bazaar Square in the Tel Rifaat district, raising the flags of the Yazidi Union of Afrin Canton, the flags of the Free Women's Union and pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the martyrs of the Resistance of the Age.

The demonstrators, chanting slogans denouncing the demographic change in the region and  saluting the resistance of the people of Afrin in the camps.

After the demonstrators stood for a minute of silence, then the co-chair of the Yazidi Union of Afrin Canton, Suad Hasso said: "After the historical resistance that the people waged against the Turkish aggression During his attack on Afrin and his massacres against its people and forcibly displacing them outside their land, these crimes were not an obstacle to continuing their resistance against the occupier and its mercenaries, so they took a new step from the camps and semi-destroyed homes to end the Turkish aggression and liberate their city.

Suad continued: "In addition to the almost daily barbaric bombing of the displaced people of Afrin in al-Shahba, the Turkish occupation began a long time ago demographic change by displacing the people and building settlements in several villages, including the Yazidi villages."

Suad stressed that they, like the people of Afrin, denounce this malicious policy carried out by the Turkish occupation in the region, and stressed that they will continue their resistance in the face of all these policies.

At the end of her speech, She called: "Humanitarian and human rights organizations to exercise their humanitarian and human rights role to hold Turkey and its mercenaries accountable."

Then the demonstration ended with chanting slogans that salute the resistance of the age and the resistance of the people of Afrin in the camps, and denounce the Turkish occupation and its practices.
