Political parties call to put pressure on aiders and abettors to Syrian Crisis

The political parties under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Council have denounced Turkey's continued cutting off of the waters of Euphrates and its use as part of the special war against the peoples of northern and eastern Syria in front of the Hazel Center for Culture and Art.

The participating parties are the Democratic Union Party, the Syriac Union Party, the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Syria (Parti), the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Syria, the Democratic Conservative Party, the Modernity and Democracy Party, the Roj Kurdistan Party, the Fraternity Party, the Kurdistan Green Party.

The statement was delivered by member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party of Syria (Parti) Abbas Hussein, who stated:

"In the context of the world's crises, the Middle East's situation of war, economic crises, political and diplomatic instability, international conflict over interests and resources and the loss of genuine and lasting solutions, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, which emerged from the will of the people, has demonstrated its existence and its ability to manage its regions despite all conflicts."

The statement also noted that "AANES is moving forward despite repeated Turkish attacks, occupation and changes in areas of northern and eastern Syria's geography, cutting off the waters of the Euphrates River and the Aluok station to more than three million people and taking the share of the Syrian people to cause a humanitarian crisis amid the silence of regional and international States."

"Turkey has recently resorted to attacking legitimate defense zones, which are the true front for the defense of the historical identity of the peoples of the Middle East and the Misak-ı Millî," the statement said.

The political parties in Tirbespiyê district have called on the international community to put pressure on the two causes of the crisis in Syria and to move towards a political solution with the participation of all Syrians in a national dialogue.
