Syria's Future Party: Presidential Elections have no significance

A statement was released by the Syria's Future Party scheduled on May 26^TH, reads:

In spite of grievances, persecution, poor living conditions and displacement and occupation of large areas the Syrian Regime is persistent to hold the so-called presidential elections that is an expression of the will to abort all bids seeking a fair political solution meets all Syrians' aspirations.

This as well shows the authoritarian mentality of the one party regime has not changed at all, and that it embraces force and military might that destroyed the country and displaced people and continues to reject all internal and external efforts to save Syria.   

This policy of intransigence deepened the economic, political and humanitarian crisis in the country and establishes the one party system and disregards all grievance and plights of the Syrian people inside and abroad just to remain in power and continue dictatorship.

All international parts expressed their rejection dubbing it as illegitimate for it goes in contradiction with the UN Res 2254, prescribing a new constitution and releasing from prison all detainees and formation of an transitional government represents all Syrians all supervised by the UN. At least half of the Syrian people is not taking part in the elections who are either displaced or refugees and that 40% of Syrian soil is out of Syrian Regime control.

We confirm that we are not taking part in these elections and reject it's outcomes that are a provocation to the Syrian people and the international community having no significance at all in the political truck to a solution rather it will deepen the crisis and destabilize Syrian and region for years to come''.
