13 ISIS mercenaries killed in Russian raids on Badia

Russian jets continue their operations within the Syrian Badia, attempting to limit the movements of ISIS mercenaries' deployment over large areas of the Badia. Russian warplanes have carried out dozens of air strikes since yesterday evening, targeting caves and other areas in both the Jabal al – Bashri outskirt at the administrative border between Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, and hubs in the eastern countryside of Hama, in particular Athria outskirt, as well as in the eastern Homs.

The number of raids by Russian fighters on Badia during the past 48 hours has risen to 180, causing human and material casualties. 13 ISIS mercenaries have been confirmed killed and vehicles destroyed.

The death toll for the period from, March 24^th, 2019 to the present day, according to Syrian Observatory statistics and documentation, was 1,423 from Damascus government forces and pro-Syrian and non-Syrian militants, including at least two Russians, as well as 149 pro-Iranian groups of non-Syrian nationalities, all killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes of ISIS mercenaries in Western Euphrates, Badia Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa, Homs, As-Suwayda Hama and Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the deaths of 4 civilians working in gas fields and dozens of other pastoralists and civilians, including children and women, in mercenary attacks, while it also documented the deaths of 950 ISIS mercenaries during the same period.
