AANES extends the partial curfew for another 10 days

The Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria extended, once again, a partial curfew imposed in all areas of AANES for 10 days beginning on the morning of Friday after tomorrow, to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

The co- Presidency of the Executive Council of Northern and Eastern Syria issued a resolution No. 117, extending the partial curfew for a further 10 days, with the ban to run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.

It reads:

 “To prevent the danger posed by the Coronavirus (COVID 19) and to prevent its spread, and based on the requirements of the public interest

1-The partial curfew imposed in all areas of AANES shall be extended for a period of 10 days from Friday morning on 7 June 2021 until Sunday, on 16 August 2021, implicitly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day.

2-All border crossings of AANES shall be closed, with the exception of humanitarian situations, patients, students and commercial traffic.

3-All congregations (condolences, congregations, prayers in places of worship - all other congregations) are strictly prohibited for the duration of the curfew.

4-Closure of all schools, universities, institutes and kindergartens.

5-The closure of all cafés, cafeteria and popular markets, while restaurants are limited for delivery services to homes.

6-All citizens must comply with the rules of health protection, social distancing and the wearing of masks.

7- This decision shall be notified to whom it may concern to be implemented.
