The Vice-head of the Academy of Politics and Democratic Thought in Southern Kurdistan, Dr. Kamiran Barwari, spoke to Hawar News Agency (ANHA) about the overall developments in Kurdistan, the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the legitimate defense areas, as well as the scheme targeting Şingal.

The US administration should stand by a free Kurdistan and a democratic entity in all parts of Kurdistan. The Kurds cannot live in this current state. "

Barwari also referred to the silence of the government of the Southern Kurdistan region and the Iraqi government, dubbing this situation as a "great catastrophe", and said in this regard: “If the parties of Southern Kurdistan do not clarify their position, this means that they follow the path of treachery. It is the duty of NATO and the Pentagon to warn the Turkish state, to prevent Turkey from using their weapons against the Kurdish people.
