Yazidi House in Jazira region calls on Şingal people to defend their gains

This came through a statement issued by the Yazidi House in Al-Jazeera region, in which it said:

"For quite some time now, the Iraqi government has been trying by various means and methods to attack Sinjar and its people and its administration, invoking its Iraq again and again because of the presence of strange forces on its land, wonder, where was this government when ISIS invaded the plain and the mountain, killing and capturing the people of Sinjar to their inevitable fate! They face mass graves, and the question that renews itself today is who saved the region people who wandered in the mountains and rugged roads facing death, thirst, hunger, and difficulties in reaching safe places?

The Iraqi army’s attempt to rob Şingal’s will constitutes a great injustice, and a heart to the fact that the Şingalis are the ones who administer their areas, and they are Iraqi citizens and have what others have in light of a federal Iraq that grants privacy without discrimination or favoritism.

From here, we wish conscientious people in the Iraqi government and army to reconsider reading the events and not to repeat the tragedies that Sinjar suffered, and to give priority to the dialogue and reason over the logic of plots, injustice and exclusion. We also call on our people to persevere and defend their gains and the pure blood of martyrs.
