ANHA monitors latest developments within Al Tayy neighborhood

The clashes began at about 22:00 yesterday evening, when the so-called National Defense Militia of the Damascus government attacked a checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces in Al-Wehda Street, adjacent to Al-Tay neighborhood, of which the militia affiliated with the Damascus government controls large parts of it.

The militia attack resulted in the death of a member of the Internal Security Forces, and the latter responded to the attack, which resulted in clashes that are still continuing until the moment this piece of news is prepared.

The Internal Security Forces have so far managed to control some points inside Al Tayy neighborhood, which was the starting point for the attacks of the so-called National Defense Militia of the Damascus government on the Internal Security Forces and civilians in Qamishlo.
