Mohamed Noor: We received no international support against Corona.

The co-chair of the Health Body of the Afrin Region criticized the organizations' inaction towards the displaced people of Afrin in light of the spread of the corona virus, calling on the people to commit themselves to preventive action.

The co-chair of the Afrin Region Health Body, Dr. Mohamed Noor, criticized the failure of the organizations to fulfil their duty to the people of Afrin Canton, particularly during the spread of the Corona virus.

He said: "Since the displacement of Afrin people to the al-Shahba Canton, humanitarian organizations have not provided any assistance," he said, adding, "Despite their potential, most organizations have not helped the people, especially during the Corona pandemic (COVID19)."

On their efforts to urge people to prevent and guard against the corona virus, Mohamed Noor said:" We will emphasize awareness-raising campaigns, where we will distribute flyers that include HIV prevention, as well as to supervise a mobile car that guides people how to prevent, and urge them to adhere seriously to decisions taken by the Crisis Cell regarding this infectious virus, particularly elderly people with chronic disease such as, hypertension, diabetes, kidney renal, obesity, which are all dangerous factors."
