Lahdou: Turkey weaponizes water to pressure Syrian people

Lahdou said that the Turkish war in which water is used is a war "against our presence in the region. It is a war targeting the peoples of northern and eastern Syria in particular, and the Syrian people in general."

Lahoudou pointed out that there are international agreements regarding the distribution of water shares in cross-border rivers, and that the Turkish state does not abide by the agreements signed between the countries through which the Euphrates passes.

Lahdou also indicated that the Syrian and Iraqi governments did not take a static action against the practices of the Turkish state against the peoples of the two countries.
