​​​​​​​2ND ISIS defeat anniversary held

Celebrations are taking place in the Umar Oil Field in eastern Deir Ezzor at the invitation of the Syrian Democratic Forces to mark second year since the defeat of ISIS at the hands of SDF fighters on MARCH 23^RD, 2019, after seven years of fierce battles.

SDF Eastern Region commander Luqman Xeleel, is taking part in the celebrations, as well as others of the SDF, and a number of the leading figures of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, and the Civil Deir Ezzor Administration, sivil society associations covered by a mass number of local and international media outlets.

After a minute of silence was observed the celebration commenced.

It is scedulled that a number of speeches to be made and messages to be delivered by various such of Deir Ezzor Military Council, Global Coalition, Deir Ezzor Civil Council, Martyrs' Families Council, and that by the Internal Security Forces, as well as honoring ceremonies.
