Violent clashes take place between Turkish mercenaries in occupied Azaz and Afrin

Violent clashes erupted this evening between several factions of Turkish mercenaries in the occupied Azaz and Afrin, and resulted in a number of injuries among the mercenaries.

Local sources reported to ANHA News Agency that clashes erupted between mercenaries of the Military Police and mercenaries of the Asifaat al-Simal Brigade in the center of the city of Azaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo on Monday, December 21 over the stolen goods.

According to the source, the two parties used medium machine guns and grenades on Souq al-Khadra Street in the city center, and the clashes resulted in at least 5 injuried, including the brothers “Hani al-Beri, Ahmad al-Beri and Ayham al-Beri” who are members of the mercenaries of the Asifaat al-Simal Brigade, while the identity of the remaining is not known yet. And those who were hospitalized and some cases were described as serious.

In the same context, violent fighting broke out in the village of Jolaqa in the district of Jindersse in Afrin canton between the mercenaries of the Hamza Division and Ahrar al-Sham, against the background of the Hamzat mercenaries arresting a member of Ahrar al-Sharqiya and severely beating him.

The district is still witnessing periodic clashes, while the two parties mobilized their mercenaries.
