According to a source from Shiah district, the mercenaries of Sultan Suleiman Shah (Amshat) imposed royalties on civilians in the villages of Shiah district.

According to the same source, the mercenaries imposed on the villages of Shiah district to provide two thousand containers of olive oil to them, and a committee was formed by the mercenaries of Sultan Suleiman Shah, and the oil was collected in the village of Jaqala.

The source pointed out that every family is forced to provide oil, and that the minimum is 3 of 20-litre containers, and that families who do not have anything to offer pay a cash amount of 25 dollars for each container of oil.

In a related context, the mercenaries imposed on the owners of 13 olive presses located in the district, to provide about 250 to 500 oil containers in exchange for allowing them to work.
