The demonstration roamed the main streets in Babins district amid the chants of mothers and slogans denouncing the crimes of the Turkish state against the people in the occupied areas, especially in Afrin.

Upon the arrival of the demonstrators to the main square, they stopped for a minute of silence, and the deputy co-chair of the Afrin Canton Council, Muhammad Abdo, noted "the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries are seeking by various means to eliminate the Kurdish people in Afrin and other areas in Kurdistan."

Abdo pointed out "the resistance of the people of Afrin is still continuing in the displacement camps in Al-Shahba canton."

Abdo recalling the crimes of the Turkish occupation state said "The Turkish occupation takes revenge on the people of Afrin by cutting olive trees and practicing all kinds of immoral practices against the indigenous people of Afrin, by kidnapping, killing, torturing civilians and tightening the screws on the people in order to displace them from their homes."

The administrator in Kongra Star, Aysha Mahmoud, praised the resistance of the people of Afrin, "their steadfastness in Al-Shahba despite the difficult circumstances is resistance and a strong message to the enemies of the Kurdish people that the people of Afrin are clinging to their land."

Aysha added, "Some Kurdish political parties seek to provoke strife among the Kurdish people to cause fights between the Kurdish brothers, and these parties implement the Turkish state's agendas to eliminate the Kurdish people, and all the Kurds should know that."

The Kurdistan Democratic Party has been under criticism in Kurdish circles, because of its policies linked to the Turkish state.

The administrator in al-Shahba Canton Council, Ahmed Salama, highlighted the internal crises that Turkey is experiencing, "Turkey is witnessing internal conflicts and this is what made it export its crisis abroad and launch long-term wars."

Salama noted the danger of the Justice and Development Party "even for the Turkish people themselves."
