2 deaths and 269 new cases of virus in NE Syria

On Thursday, the Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that it had recorded two deaths of people with Covid 19 in northern and eastern Syria.

Dr. Juan Mostafa, the Co-chair of the Health Body in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria explained that the two deaths were of a man from Qamishlo and a woman from al-Hasakah.

Mostafa added that they recorded 269 new cases of Covid-19 virus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which are 149 males and 120 females, and they are distributed as follows:

59 cases in Dêrik

47 cases in al-Hasakah

37 cases in Qamishlo

7 cases in Amuda

14 cases in Girkê Legê

12 cases in ad-Darbasiyah

1 case in al-Rumailan

1 case in Çil Axa

8 cases in Tirbê Spiyê

1 case in Tel Tamr

24 cases in al-Tabqa

22 cases in Manbij

36 cases in al-Raqqa

Mostafa also mentioned that 15 new recoveries were registered.

It is worth mentioning that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria reached 5,247 with the announcement of these new cases, including 135 deaths and 771 recoveries.
