HPG: PDK attacks our camp in Garê; however we do not respond

The HPG issued a statement regarding the events in Cumank, Başûr Kurdistan. It appealed to the PDK to stop its operations against the Guerrilla camps.

"Despite our warnings, they tried to enter our camp near the village of Badi using armored cars. Despite this attempted attack, our forces did not enter into clashes and did not use weapons," the statement said.

The HPG announced that despite these warnings, the PDK forces tried to enter our camp with Hummer armored vehicles, and that is why they tried to intervene to warn them.

"Here, two mines were detonated at Hummer armored vehicles in an attempt to prevent their advance," the statement continued.

It made clear that the Guerrilla forces would never attack, and continued: "For the sake of the Kurdish national interest, we do not want to fight and announce this clearly."

We call on the PDK to stop its operations against our camps. But let everyone knows that if the previous attacks continue, the Guerrilla forces will defend within the framework of the legitimate right to defend themselves. "
