Afrin displaced: Resistance to continue until return

Displaced people from Afrin residing at Al-Odah camp at the district of Şerawa stressed to continue resistance against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries until they return to Afrin, appealing to the international community to hold its responsibility to protect civilians from the Turkish occupation's crimes.

Silence still prevails from the international organizations' part regarding displaced people from Afrin to what they suffer at the hands of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, on October 5th Turkey targeted civilian areas in al-Shahba canton with heavy weapons.

Afrin's displaced residing in the camp of Al- Odeh in the district of Şerawa of the occupied Afrin Canton, denounced Turkish occupation and its mercenaries' continued offensives on civilians, with the aim to force them to displace and migrate, and called on the human rights and legal organizations to break the silence and do their duties regarding civilians' protection.

Citizen Delivan Ibish from Afrin stressed they would continue resistance until they return to Afrin:" we were displaced and resided at Al-Odeh camp, but we still resist to return to Afrin", adding " what does the Turkish occupation wants more? It targets civilians to expel them again, but it would fail, and we will defend our dignity and territories".

Delivan called on the human rights organizations to deliver aid to the displaced at the camps, and hold Erdogan who kills children and elderly responsible".

While citizen Ismat Bakir said in this relation:" the Turkish occupation targets civilians from time to time, the guarantor states such as Russia and America have to put an end to Erdogan", adding " but they give way to the Turkish state to target civilians inhumanely, so we would resist even this lasts a 100 years".

Bakir denounced position of the international organizations towards practices and crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against displaced people of Afrin.

From her part, Fatima Othman spoke on the issue saying:" all camps around the world receive international care and protection against any harm, but the camp of the displaced people of Afrin, the Turkish State and its mercenaries bomb camps and the populated areas constantly".

Fatima added " we would resist and proceed on the truck of leader Abdullah Ocalan and whatever we can for his sake".

Jan Diyar called on the international community to break its silence towards the suffering of the displaced people of Afrin at the hands of the Turkish occupation, adding" enough silence, is it that we are Kurds you ignore our rights, the Kurds won't be eradicated, but every day we increase by numbers, we are always present and proud."
