We reject any new Turkish invasion on our lands

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration in the city of Manbij, Nazifa Khilo, said that the cities of Girê Spî /Tal-Abyad and Serêkaniyê/ Ras al-Ain were exposed during its occupation to many horrible crimes that amount to war crimes, confirming that they are rejecting any new Turkish invasion of Syrian lands.

On October 9, this year marks the first anniversary of the Turkish attack on the regions of Serêkaniyê and Girê Sp and their occupation in 2019.

In this context, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration in the city of Manbij and its countryside, Nazifa Khilo, says that the Turkish occupation committed the most heinous massacres and crimes against humanity during its occupation of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain.

She added, in an interview with Hawar news agency ANHA, that the violations and crimes of the Turkish occupation have been seen by world's states, but still remained silent, and ignoring the Turkish occupation's practices against the Syrian people.

And she continued her speech by saying: "Everyone knows that the Turkish state was supportive of ISIS mercenaries and what its mercenaries are doing now in the occupied areas are the same practices, violations and crimes that ISIS was practicing. Turkish occupation's mercenaries and ISIS are two sides of the same coin."

And she explained that " Turkish occupation seeks to make demographic change in the occupied areas by displacing indigenous people from their homes and housing the families of mercenaries in them, so they had forced to sleep in wilderness and camps in the areas of north and east of Syria

Nazifa pointed out what is being occurred in the cities of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain and Girê Sp / Tal Abyad is a real tragedy for the peoples of the region, and that Turkey violated all international charters, laws and norms.

She saw that Turkey does not stop its practices and wants to occupy other areas of Syria and change them demographically, and added: “Our military forces are fighting and resisting on the fronts, we will not accept a new invasion of Syrian lands, and we will continue the struggle and resistance until the last mercenary is removed from the Turkish occupation of our land, and we will not forget the sacrifices our martyrs who liberated us from ISIS.
