France: A mortar attack targeting a police station in southern Paris

The Paris Police Department said that eight of the projectiles were found near the center, and the attack caused damage to several police cars, as well as in the glass entrance door in the center in the center of the city of Champagne-sur-Marne in the southern suburb of Paris, according to Al-Hurra.

The incidents began just before midnight and ended an hour later, and no one was arrested in connection with the attack.

Paris Police Chief Didier Laallmann expressed his "support for the policemen who were targeted by these unacceptable acts."

The "Alliance" Police Syndicate condemned the attack, and its representative, General Frederick Lagash, wrote, "It is time for the government to address the acts of violence committed against the policing forces. No one respects the security forces anymore, and the government has not succeeded in reversing this trend so far."

He asked, "What does the government want to commit to protecting its security forces?"

This police station has been subjected to attacks of this kind several times, especially last April during the isolation period imposed to combat the outbreak of the new Corona virus, as well as in 2018.
