Zelal Cîger: Despite all difficulties, Ocalan did not surrender, continuing his democratic struggle   

Zelal Cîger and Ayed Ibrahim's talk came at a dialogue seminar organized by the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in Qamishlo canton. The talk concentrated on the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan on October 9,1998, in addition to the Turkish occupation of the regions in north and east Syria.

The Co-Chair of TEV-DEM Zelal Cîger, the civil society institutions' members, in addition to the a crowd of people attended the dialogue symposium.    

In the beginning of the dialogue symposium, the Member of the Democratic Society Movement Ayed Ibrahim touched on the international plot against the leader Abdullah Ocalan on October 9 by several international and regional countries, and he said: "The conspiracy aimed at getting the Middle East peoples away from the leader's thought and philosophy and occupying the Middle East countries via their capitalistic thoughts, noting that the conspiracy in fact targeted the peoples of the Middle East as a whole.  

Ibrahim pointed out that the Turkish state well knows that the leader Abdullah Ocalan has the solution for the crises in the Middles East, and added: "So that, we see that it is intensifying the isolation on the leader."

Ibrahim underlined the need to continue struggle by the components of north and east Syria to deliver the leader Abdullah Ocalan's thought to all the peoples of the world. He said: "Despite all the violations and international plot that took place against the leader, he always emphasizes via his massages that his is the triumphant in his revolution."  

For her part, the Co-Chair of TEV-DEM Zelal Cîger noted that October is a black month for the peoples of the region, and she said: "October is among the black months for the peoples of north and east Syria, as the international conspiracy against the leader Ocalan took place, and Turkey occupied the two cities of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî." 

Zelal Cîger explained that despite all difficulties that the leader Abdullah Ocalan faced, he did not give up, but is struggling for the sake of deploying his democratic thought among Kurdistan peoples. She said: "Today, the leader Abdullah Ocalan's thought emerged in north and east Syria through the Autonomous Administration project based on democratic principles and people's fraternity."

Zelal Cîger focused on the need to escalate struggle, and said that despite all the attacks and violations practiced by the Turkish occupation against the peoples of the region, they are going on struggle and taking the leader Ocalan's directions a basis in that."
