Coalition spokesman Wayne Maruto said on his Twitter account, "The Joint Air Force Joint Task Force, as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, struck the heart of ISIS this morning and destroyed terrorist training camps in the remote Badia desert in Syria."

Maruto considered that the joint action between the Coalition and the "Syrian Democratic Forces" constitutes a greater force to prevent "ISIS" from launching attacks in Syria and abroad.

In a related context, Colonel Wayne Maruto said in an interview with Al-Arabiya network: "We will continue to provide the necessary support to our local partners."

He added that "the Coalition will continue to provide all support to its partners to ensure the success of defeating ISIS completely," in both neighboring Syria and Iraq, explaining that "the duration of the Coalition's stay in the two countries depends on the surrounding circumstances."

He also indicated that "the coalition's support and assistance to its partners will continue according to the changing circumstances in the field on the ground until the complete elimination of extremist organization and its end."
