Al-Mismari: 9 ISIS' elements killed in qualitative operation for Libyan army

Major General Ahmed al-Mismari announced the killing of nine ISIS mercenaries, and the arrest of two women, in a qualitative operation carried out by the Libyan army forces in the city of Sabha.

The spokesman for the Libyan army, Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, said: The south-western region was subjected to numerous infiltrations by "terrorists", stressing that the army dealt with these breaches.

Al-Mismari explained, during a press conference, that the army received information about the movement of a cell from the city of Murzuq to Sabha, pointing out that the 116th Infantry Brigade had drawn up a plan to raid the den in the Abd al-Kafi neighborhood in Sabha city, indicating that the battalion developed the plan based on previous experience about extremist groups in The area, he continued: "The den was raided, and the battle continued for seven hours."

Al-Mismari confirmed that 9 "terrorists" were eliminated, and 2 women were arrested, explaining that among those who were eliminated were two of the Libyan nationality, three of the Saudi nationality, one of the Egyptian nationality, one of the Nigerian nationality, one of the Sudanese nationality, and one from Ivory Coast.

Al-Mesmari added that one of the arrested women is from the city of Bani Ghazi, and she is Sana Abdul Hadi Salem, the wife of the "ISIS terrorist" Othman al-Abbar, who was killed in the operation, and the second, the wife of the new caliph of ISIS mercenaries, Abu Abdullah al-Libi, who was killed.

He mentioned that the wife of the new caliph of the mercenaries of ISIS holds Egyptian nationality, and she arrived in Libya on the first of last January, and her name is Naglaa Mahmoud Afifi Hussein, adding that she was a former ISIS wife who was in the mercenaries of Bayt al-Maqdis, explaining that her ex-husband is imprisoned in Egypt, and she has two sons in Egypt, Mustafa and Abdullah, are in Egyptian prisons, saying that they have confirmed during the investigations that they do not know the real name of the new caliph of ISIS mercenaries.

He explained that the information about her marriage to the new caliph of ISIS indicates that the former leader of ISIS mercenaries was killed in previous operations.
