We in the PKK attach great importance to this, and see that these relations are very important in the new Middle East, because the old Middle East is divided and subjected to plunder and destruction due to the nationalist concept, it was left to the domination of fascism and the dictatorship of nation-states. The Kurds faced genocidal campaigns in it, and Arabs were divided into several scattered parts and became vulnerable to occupation.

Kalkan pointed to the destructive role of the dominant global powers and the deep capitalist forces across the regimes, including Turkey and Iran. Those powers have turned the Middle East 100-200 years ago into a center of crises and contradictions to serve their interests, while they fear the struggle of the Kurds and Arabs, so they resort to creating conflict and strife between the Kurds and Arabs has always been, to the point where it established many organizations for the purpose of attacking Kurdish and Arab relations. all of this is managed by external forces. They must realize this fact, and that the Kurds and Arabs should not be dragged behind these games.

Kalkan called for liberation from the narrow nation-state mentality and chauvinism, and the initiation of the development of the management of coexistence between peoples, and democratic unity, if this is done, there will be remarkable progress in that way.

And he referred to the Turkish expansion in Libya, Idlib and Iraq, and a clear rejection of Egypt, and even Iraq, adding, “Therefore it is necessary for them to build relations with the Kurdish people against the Turkish occupation. We, as a liberation movement, appeal to young Arabs, women, politicians and others to agree, we must build strong relations, and to remain in touch, in order to build a democratic system that gives an opportunity to create a coexistence.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Kurdistan Workers Party, Doran Kalkan, commented on the situation in Iraq, which is witnessing conflicts, and said: “We hope that the Iraqi government will approach rationally with pressure and not surrender to foreign and regional powers such as Turkey and Iran, but rather that it is interested in strengthening relations with the Kurds. And various plots against Şingal, and we hope that the Iraqi administration will not fall into the dilemma of those plans. The Yazidi community and the rest of the components must live freely and safely in their democratic administration formed by its people. This will strengthen Iraq and enhance political and military support and social unity in Iraq".
