16 Killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

 The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that 16 people, including several children and women, were killed in airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes on the Gaza Strip today.

Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal told Agence France-Presse that their crews transported "four martyrs and a number of wounded" at dawn on Sunday as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted an apartment in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. He explained that the dead "included a man, his wife, and their two children."

Basal added, "Two martyrs and a number of wounded were transported as a result of an Israeli airstrike at dawn that targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis."

Later, the Civil Defense stated that ten Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent in the Al-Mawasi area of ​​Khan Yunis, confirming that "a child and seven women" were killed in the strike.

It also indicated that it transported "nine wounded" as a result of an airstrike on Sunday morning that targeted a warehouse housing dozens of displaced people in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northwest Gaza City.
