The leaders will discuss aspects of cooperation, investment and economy between their countries, in addition to discussing regional issues, foremost among which is the Palestinian issue, combating terrorism, and the Syrian and Libyan files.

The meeting of Abdullah and Sisi dealt with bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, and they also discussed mechanisms of cooperation and coordination aimed at limiting the spread of the Corona epidemic, and mitigating its humanitarian and economic effects.

The Jordanian News Agency "Petra" indicated that "the meeting touched on efforts to combat terrorism according to a holistic approach, as His Majesty stressed the need to support the efforts made by Egypt in this regard, to protect its security and stability."

" Common concern"

On this, Egyptian journalist Mahmoud Bassiouni told Hawar News Agency, "The meeting of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi with King Abdullah of Jordan and Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Iraqi Prime Minister, comes within the framework of the aspiration of the tripartite cooperation that includes Egypt, Jordan and Iraq."

Bassiouni pointed out that "the summit is being held for the third time after its activities were launched in Cairo in 2019 and focuses mainly on strengthening economic, commercial and investment cooperation between the three countries, in addition to discussing regional issues."

The Egyptian journalist added, "The three countries are united by a common Arab concern because of the great weight that the three countries enjoy in their regional and Arab surroundings, and the common challenges imposed on them, the most important of which are economic development, combating terrorism and facing regional interventions."

Messages of support for Iraq against Turkey and Iran, and for Jordan against the Brotherhood

Bassiouni explained, "The summit includes a message of support for the Iraqi leadership mainly for the great efforts that Al-Kazemi is making in facing the threat of militias and sectarian quotas on the Iraqi scene, as well as the rejected Turkish attacks on Iraqi lands, in addition to Jordan's decision to dissolve the terrorist Brotherhood and the security and political challenges that this imposes. Egypt provides support to Iraq and Jordan in confronting the terrorist Brotherhood and the threat of armed militias. "

Bassiouni pointed out that "the summit consolidates Egypt's tendency towards restoring balance to the Arab scene, strengthening the concept of the national state and resisting regional hegemony attempts by countries such as Turkey and Qatar with their support for terrorist organizations and military militias that destroy the concept of the nation state in the Arab world, which is the main challenge posed to the tripartite summit, which will include consultations." The three countries will also occupy the internal development process and the paths of economic development. On the agenda of the Amman summit, evaluation and follow-up will be put on the development steps in various fields of economic, commercial and investment cooperation between the three countries.

" Iraqi return to its Arab surroundings"

For his part, the head of the press department at Ahl al-Bayt University in Iraq, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Daami, told Hawar News Agency, "The importance of the summit lies in the participation of Iraq, which was isolated from the Arab nation, and now it is back to its Arab surroundings."

The head of the press department at Ahl al-Bayt University in Iraq pointed out that "Egypt's presence in any conference gives it an authentic Arab dimension."
