On Friday, the southern governorate witnessed the implementation of the security plan supervised by Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi to track down the killers and other files that Al-Ghanmi ordered to be implemented by senior leaders in the ministry, the most important of which is the elimination of the fugitive weapons, the drug file, clan disputes, and the arrest of criminals who have not yet implemented arrest warrants on them.

While joint forces from the army and police deployed, they detained the vehicles that did not carry proper numbers and the shaded cars, as the Ministry of Interior confirmed that it is one of the tools used to kill activists.

The security forces were present at the main intersections and roads, the most important of which is Al-Tejari Street, which witnessed the assassination of the activist and nutrition expert, Reham Yaqoub.

In addition, many demonstrators gathered in Busra in front of the representation headquarters of the House of Representatives after the expiration of the 72-hour deadline to demand the disclosure of the killers of civilian activists. Security and riot control forces were deployed near the Basra Representation Council.

The protesters are calling for members of Parliament in Busra to reveal the killers of civilian activists and to intervene to stop the uncontrolled weapons in the governorate, to send forces from Baghdad to achieve security in Busra, to dismiss corrupt officials, and to demand a fair judiciary in the governorate, in addition to the intervention of the United Nations to open an international investigation into the case of the assassination of activists. .
