The malicious media campaigns that the Syrian government media worked on showed that the government adhered to the old mentality, and did not recognize the accomplishments achieved at all levels in northern and eastern Syria.

In an interview held by ANHA with the political researcher and member of the Intellectuals Union in al-Raqqa, Abdel Rahman al-Issa, he condemned these campaigns, considering that such campaigns are not in the interest of resolving the Syrian crisis, which the Damascus government does not want to approach.

Abdel Rahman al-Issa indicated in his speech that the series of special war forms practiced against the people of northern and eastern Syria that followed the liberation of the region from terrorism will have various forms, including the media distortion campaigns currently practiced.

Al-Issa noted that the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration have become a national umbrella that gathers all components in northern and eastern Syria with clear goals; building a decentralized democratic Syria with a history of protecting and liberating Syrian regions from terrorism and extremism, in addition to achieving security and stability."

Al-Issa called for "all components of society to rapprochement more with the institutions of the Autonomous Administration, as it represents the solution that satisfies the Syrians and ends their crisis, and the evidence is the involvement of all the people of the northeast of Syria within the institutions of this Administration that today manages matters on the ground in this region."

Al-Issa added that the campaigns of distortion and diminution of the Syrian people's rights which the government media outlets resort to under flimsy pretexts will not contribute to progress towards the path to solving the Syrian crisis.

Media outlets affiliated with the Syrian government launched during the period following the assassination of Arab tribal leaders and sheikhs a media campaign that carried direct accusations to the Syrian Democratic Forces of being behind these assassinations in contrast to the confessions of cells and persons who confessed to being recruited by the Syrian intelligence to launch several assassination operations targeting Arab tribal leaders and members of local and civil councils in the regions of Deir ez-Zor and the countryside of al-Hasakah with the aim of igniting seditions and defusing stability in the region.
