On Wednesday morning, Arab press touched upon the situation in Idlib, in addition to the Iraqi-Turkish tension, and the Turkish and Qatari interference in Libya.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: Russian raids north of Idlib, near the Turkish border

The Arab newspapers published this morning, on the Syrian issue, dealt with several issues, the most prominent of which was the situation in Idlib, and in this context, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper said: “Russian warplanes launched intense raids on the northern countryside of Idlib near the Turkish border in Hatay, at a time when Turkey pushed with new military reinforcements to the province in northwestern Syria. "

And it added, "The raids began the night before last, and continued yesterday (Tuesday), as the Russian warplanes carried out more than 20 raids on the outskirts of the town of Maarat Misrin, the village of Sheikh Bahr al-Sheikh and its surroundings, and the vicinity of Harbnoush, which has camps for Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, which also includes refugees' camps. "

At the same time, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that “the regime forces renewed their missile strikes on the villages and towns of Kansafra, Sufuhn, al-Bara, and al-Mouzra in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Tal Wasit and al-Ziyarah in al-Ghab Plain northwest of Hama, while the (Syrian armed opposition factions) responded, and the "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham", with similar bombings targeting areas controlled by the regime forces.

Al-Arab: Nujaifi, Erdogan's loyal man, is pressuring al-Kazemi to overlook the escalation with Turkey

On the Iraqi issue, Al-Arab newspaper said: "Well-informed sources revealed the relentless efforts made by the veteran politician, who comes from partisan backgrounds, with links to the Muslim Brotherhood, Osama al-Nujaifi, to contain the escalating crisis between Iraq and Turkey."

And it added, "Amid the escalating tensions, political sources said that Osama al-Nujaifi, the former speaker of parliament who currently leads the Salvation and Development Front, which has a few deputies in parliament, is moving between many circles to surround the crisis between Baghdad and Ankara."

In a statement to the newspaper, the sources said, "Nujaifi called the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad, Fatih Yildiz, and Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, before calling Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi to urge all parties to calm down."

Al-Nujaifi is of Brotherhood party origins and is associated with the Turkish Justice and Development Party AKP with entrenched economic interests.

Al-Nujaifi previously ran on the lists of the Islamic party, the wing of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Iraq, for the position of Minister of Industry in 2005.

Local observers from the city of Mosul, from which the leader of the so-called “Salvation Front,” said that al-Nujaifi is considered a faithful guardian of Turkish interests in the Iraqi province of Nineveh, which Ankara considers to this day a Turkish region that must one day be restored.

The sources say that al-Nujaifi is moving in Shiite and Kurdish circles to mobilize pressure on al-Kazemi to turn a blind eye to the Turkish escalation against Iraq.

Observers are surprised by the interference of a political figure in a file related to Iraq's foreign relations at the official level, including his contacts and meetings with official officials and their request to take specific measures to preserve the interests of a foreign country, away from the interests of Iraq and its people.

The sources said that al-Nujaifi is implementing orders he received from Turkey to move in Iraq to contain government anger over the blatant Turkish border attacks on Iraq and prevent its citizens from traveling to Turkey to pursue urgent affairs.

And explained that al-Nujaifi is seeking the help of Masoud Barzani to redouble pressure on al-Kazemi, as he mobilizes the efforts of political parties on a suspicious political relationship with Turkey and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Al-Bayan: Al-Mismari: The Turkish-Qatari machine met to transfer the battle from the eastern Mediterranean

In Libya, Al-Bayan newspaper said: “The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, considered the existence of two reasons behind the visit of Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Qatari Khalid Al-Attiyah, the capital, Tripoli, the day before yesterday, the first attempt to transfer Turkey the battle from the eastern Mediterranean region to Libya, and the second attempt to calm down the conflicting organizations and militias in Tripoli, explaining that the Turkish President, Recep Erdogan, does not want a ceasefire or calm in Libya, indicating that he only wants time.
