HPG kill 8 Turkish occupation soldiers in two operations

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces today issued a statement about the recent operations carried out by its forces against the Turkish occupation army, and said in the text of the statement:

Within the framework of the Haftanin revolutionary campaign, on the seventeenth of August and at exactly seven o'clock in the morning Kurdistan time, the Star units carried out a qualitative operation against the Turkish occupation army in Navasra Square in the Khantur region. During the operation, the Star Forces targeted the Turkish enemy fortifications killing seven soldiers.

Within the framework of the campaign of the martyrs Bagir and Ronya, the Guerrilla forces carried out an operation on the seventeenth of this August at exactly six in the morning in the Cele area in the state of Colemerg, in which they targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers on the Shukri hill. The operation resulted in the death of a Turkish soldier.

The two operations were carried out in memory of the Guerrilla member Akid Karzan and two Iraqi army officers who were martyred in an air strike by the Turkish occupation army.
