​​​​​​​Health council: 6 cases with Covid-19 in Sheikh Maqsoud, Achrafieh

During a written statement, a copy of which was received by Hawar news agency ANHA, the Health Council in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Achrafieh neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo announced that 6 cases of Coronavirus had been recorded in the two neighborhoods, after symptoms of infection appeared on them and were confirmed by conducting a PCR test that showed positive results.

According to the statement, the 6 cases, two of which were cured, while the other four infections remained within home quarantine, and under direct medical supervision.

The statement called for the necessity to adhere to the principles of social distancing, and to apply the means to prevent the virus as much as possible to avoid the spread of the pandemic in a large way.

While he appealed to citizens to seek medical help when feeling sick symptoms, and to report any suspected case to reduce the spread of infection.

It is noteworthy that it is the first time that the Sheikh Maqsoud and Achrafieh neighborhoods have recorded cases of Coronavirus since it began spreading in Syria in March of this year.
