The former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri left Beirut on Monday heading to The Hague to participate in the verdict hearing on the murder of his father, the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri and his companions.

It is scheduled that Saad al-Hariri, after the Special Tribunal for Lebanon pronounces the ruling, will make a press statement tomorrow, Tuesday, regarding the ruling.

The Lebanese are awaiting the issuance of the decision of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon on Tuesday in the case of the assassination of Rafik al-Hariri and his companions, after the session was postponed due to the explosion at the Beirut port to the eighteenth of this August.

4 men accused of masterminding the bombing carried out in 2005 which resulted in killing Rafik al-Hariri and 21 others are on trial.

The defendants who are being tried in absentia are: Salim Jamil Ayyash, Hassen Habib Marei, Asad Hassen Sabra and Hussein Hassen Aneissi, and they belong to the Lebanese Hezbollah group that denies its involvement in the assassination of al-Hariri and his companions.
