The arrest of the agent Othman comes in a series of operations carried out by the security services in northeast of Syria.

How was Osman recruited by the Turkish intelligence?

Osman's family is from the village of Minas in Kobani canton. They fled to Ankara during the battles that took place in Kobani in 2013.

The 25-years-old young began his first secret mission in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in the summer of 2017, after he got acquainted with "Abu Jaber", one of the leaders of the mercenary factions of Turkey. He works for "Chetin", a Turkish intelligence officer.

Abu Jaber asked him to bring young Kurds and Syrian Arabs, to work as agents of the Turkish Intelligence (MÎT) in different regions of Turkey and Syria.

His duties in the Turkish capital, Ankara

Turkish intelligence formed a cell to identify Kurdish and Arab personalities who worked in the Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria. They visit northern Kurdistan and Turkey, to be tracked and arrested.

Osman played key role in identifying some Kurdish figures and providing their locations to the Turkish intelligence services to be arrested in the capital, Ankara.

Turkish camps for foreign mercenaries

Othman was asked to enroll in an intelligence training course in a camp near the capital, Ankara, in order to sign a 3-year contract for 9 thousand Turkish liras.

"There were many people in the camp; Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians, Pakistanis, Chinese, Saudis, and Qataris, as well as Afghans." Othman said.

His intelligence missions in northern and eastern Syria

Othman entered alone in the spring of 2020 to the regions of northern and eastern Syria from the Bab al-Hawa crossing on the Syrian-Turkish border in Idlib, which he passed thanks to his father, who is one of the leaders of the mercenary factions affiliated with Turkey.

His father took him to the occupied city of Jarablus, and was entered to the city of Manbij through undercover agents. He went to his former home in the village of Minas near the city of Kobani.

Turkish intelligence contacted Mustafa during his time in Kobani to send them the locations of some security points in the city and the countryside.

Othman sent 5 security sites on the map and pictures to the Turkish intelligence, which are points spread in the eastern countryside of Kobani, and in the neighborhoods of the city, before he was arrested with a controlled intelligence operation by the security services in the Euphrates region.
