Arab National Body: Turkey targets Syrian sovereignty, ranks must unite to deter it

The Arab National Body clarified that the Turkish occupation army targets the entire Syrian sovereignty, and demanded that the Syrian forces and political parties to be one hand with joint single position and voice to deter the Turkish occupation attacks.

Since October 9, 2019, the Turkish occupation army has been launching continuous attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, committing crimes against the Syrian people since August 24, 2016 after its military entry into Syria, and the occupation of Jarabulus city through a play between it and ISIS mercenaries.

The Arab National Body believes that the Turkish attacks and crimes against the Syrian people are a continuation of the Ottoman mentality against the neighboring countries.

The Head of the Women's Office in the Arab National Body Khansa al-Hammoud noted that the Turkish state is trying, through its continuous attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, to destabilize the security and stability of the peoples of the region.

Khansa al-Hamoud indicated that the Turkish occupation, since ancient times, has been trying to control the Syrian lands and create conflicts among all components and groups of the Syrian people, following the policy of separation with the aim of striking the spirit of love and cohesion among all components of the region.

The main target of the attacks is to strike the democratic project in the region

Khansa pointed out that the main reason for the Turkish attacks on the northern and eastern regions of Syria is to strike the democratic project in the region, and said: "Turkey is afraid of the democratic projects."

She explained that the Turkish occupation targets the vital establishments in the regions of northern and eastern Syria and Syria with the aim of striking the region's economy, meaning that Turkey launches military and economic attacks simultaneously on the Syrian people.

Since Turkey's occupation of the Syrian lands, it has been targeting all vital facilities, especially in the regions of northern and eastern Syria; cutting water, setting fire to agricultural crops, and targeting electrical transformers and schools.
