Amouda people condemn Hilanj massacre

fter yesterday evening, the Turkish occupation planes targeted the homes of civilians in the Hilanj village, Kobani, which resulted in the death of three women, two of them are members of Kongra Star.

Hundreds of Amouda people demonstrated in protest against the crimes of the Turkish occupation in the northeast of Syria.

The demonstration started from the martyr Jihad square, and the demonstrators carried pictures of martyrs and banners reading "On the path of Hevrin and Zahra, we will rise the resistance."

The demonstration roamed the streets amid slogans that denounce the Turkish occupation and salute the resistance of free women to the free women's square.

After  a minute of silence, member of Kongra Star Coordination, Yousra Muhammad  gave a speech in which she touched on the Turkish occupation’s attacks on Kurdistan and the perpetration of crimes against the Kurds, amid the silence of the international community.

She added, "The victories of the peoples in the northeast of Syria have not been compatible with the policy of the Turkish occupation, which has tried repeatedly to target the project of the democratic nation, which aims to achieve the freedom of all peoples of the region."

She noted that Kobani is the source of the resistance, because it presented thousands of martyrs "and did not give in to terrorism sponsored by Turkey, and the woman proved her worth and her will to the whole world, so women must organize themselves more to deter this Turkish terrorism from women and society."
