A second wave of coronavirus outbreak in Palestine ... infections increased in Israel

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, "This morning, 33 new cases of coronavirus have been registered, 32 of which are in Hebron Governorate, in addition to one in Nablus Governorate, in the West Bank."

Minister Mai al-Kailah explained that 26 injuries were recorded in the city of Hebron, five injuries in Yatta, and one injury in Samu`, bringing the number of active injuries (currently receiving treatment) in Hebron Governorate to 209 cases.

She added: "A case was recorded in Nablus, bringing the number of active cases in the governorate to 20."

As a result of the new cases, the total number of cases since the outbreak of the pandemic started to rise to 902, including 305 cases still receiving treatment, 592 recovery cases and 5 deaths.

Palestinian medical sources estimate that Palestine is affected by a second outbreak of the virus, which is more severe than the first.

In the same context, the total number of coronavirus infections in Israel increased to 20,339 cases, while Israeli Health recorded the recovery of 15,586 cases, in addition to 304 deaths.
