HPG confirm : No fighters in targeted areas by Turkey

The Popular Defense Forces confirmed that their fighters are not located in the areas that were targeted by the Turkish planes, and made it clear during a statement that the Turkish state tried to justify its intentions to commit massacres and pretext of targeting PKK sites.

And the statement continued: "In Mexmûr camp, civilian refugees live, who fled the oppression of the Turkish state while in Şengal, the Yezidis who suffered the calamities at the hands of ISIS from killing, captivity and displacement. And Turkey, with its attacks, last night, reveals Its true face and real intentions to kill and annihilate the Kurds. The Turkish state does not provide an effort to fight the Kurdish people to eliminate the achievements it achieved through its long struggle, and its attacks confirm that it is not different from ISIS in the mentality of terrorism and murder. ”

HPG affirmed that there are no fighters in the areas targeted by the Turkish warplanes , and that “the pretexts that Turkey takes as a means to launch attacks against Kurdish civilians are invalid. So our forces do not exist in the aforementioned areas but defenseless civilians. "

The statement pointed to air strikes launched by the warplanes of the Turkish occupation army on the areas of Seda and the martyr Rustam in the Zab district, and the side of Rakhil in the vicinity of Avashin, the district of Saneen in the vicinity of Khakurk and the vicinity of the Martyrs Square in Qandil, and these areas belong to the legitimate defense areas (Midia), stressing that “There were no casualties among the Guerrillas fighters and fighters as a result of these raids.”
