Green Party: Just as Ottomans annihilated Armenians, Turkey exterminates Kurds

The reactions denouncing the Turkish air bombardment that targeted Şengal province, Mexmûr camp and the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan continue.

In this context, the Kurdistan Green Party issued a statement to the public opinion today, noting that Turkey will not be able to achieve its goals as long as there is a struggling people sacrificing martyrs to defend the homeland, Kurdistan.

The statement included:

"The fascist Turkish state fights the peaceful Kurdish people wherever they are found. For this fascist state, a good Kurd is a dead Kurd.

And just as the Ottoman state destroyed the Armenians and Syriacs within the borders of its colonial state, here is its descendant the Turkish state which wants to annihilate the peaceful Kurdish people in order to control their land forever, but no way as long as there is a struggling people who sacrifice martyrs to defend the homeland of Kurdistan, and as long as there are militants who lead this struggle with all aggression.

We, in the Kurdistan Green Party, condemn the Turkish aggression against the legitimate defense zones, and areas of the Şengal administration, as well as the Mexmûr refugee camp who fled the terrorism of the Turkish state since decades, and all the areas targeted by the Turkish terrorism.

At the same time, we affirm our support for the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in its struggle against the fascist state to achieve the legitimate rights of our Kurdish people on the homeland of Kurdistan."
