Political prisoner, Jalalian, infected with Corona, Iranian authorities refuses to hospitalize her

The Human Rights Network quoted Jalalian's father, Ali Jalalyan, as saying that his daughter told him yesterday by phone that she was quarantined in different room in the  quarantine center in the prison, even though several other prisoners suffer from the Coronavirus, and that her severe illness is still continuing..

The prison doctor told her that the virus had badly affected her lungs, and he was trying to control it.

At the end of his speech, Ali Jalalian expressed his concern about his daughter's serious condition, and requested that she be transferred to a hospital outside the prison so that he could be treated.

Jalalyan is a Kurdish political prisoner, who was sentenced to death by the Iranian authorities after her arrest in 2007. She was then retried to life imprisonment with hard labor, and was placed in "Khoy" prison in Urmia state. However, she was recently transferred to an unknown location, until her father told the human rights website about a suspicious and disturbing communication that occurred between him and his daughter yesterday on the sidelines of her transfer to Tehran.
