Arab clans in al-Shaddadi: We support Deterring Terrorism campaign

Clans in al-Shaddadi district have confirmed their support for SDF in " Deterring Terrorism" campaign targeting ISIS mercenary cells, stressing that all the residents and clans of the areas from the southern countryside of al-Hasakah canton to the areas of Deir-ez-Zor alongside with the forces participating in the campaign.

After the Turkish aggression and the Syrian National Army's mercenaries which is still ongoing on the areas of north and east Syria, ISIS cells' attacks have intensified, particularly in the southern areas of al-Hasakah canton to Deir-ez-Zor.

The cells took advantage of the Turkish attack on October 9, 2019, exploiting coronavirus outbreak that swept world's states, resulted in the killing hundreds of thousands.

Assassinations, public killings and thefts have included areas from Markada road to Deir-ez-Zor from the western side, and the eastern road from Dishishah, which links the vast desert that extends to Deir-ez-Zor, by the terrorist cells of ISIS and hired by external parties such as Turkey and others.

In response to the demands and appeals of the people and clans, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched its military campaign in the name of the "Deterring Terrorism" to destroy the dens of terrorists and clean the area from them.

The notabl of al-Fadil clan, Manaf al-Raja, confirmed that "these cells are spread in the desert areas after Dishishah and the villages connecting from the town of Markada to the towns and cities of Deir-ez-Zor, and the regions have witnessed in recent times a lot of car bombings in the markets and among civilians." He added, "Their goal is to terrorize civilians and strike the security and stability of the region."

Al-Raja pointed out that the clans of the region support the military campaign launched by the SDF with the aim of cleaning the area from these cells that are funded and supported by hands outside, and getting rid of them, especially on the areas in the countryside adjacent to the Iraqi border, where there is a vast desert between the Dishishah and Deir-ez-Zor that has been taken as HQ to these ISIS cells underground to facilitate their movement.

Sheikh, Manaf al-Raja, the forces participating in the campaign "strike with an iron hand" to end the suffering of the people from the repeated terrorist bombings by these cells and their financiers, and continued, saying, "The people and clans of the areas that extend from the southern countryside of al-Hasakah canton to the areas of Deir - ez-Zor alongside with the participating forces in the campaign."
