Jurist: Violations in Afrin carried out under Turkish Intelligence's order

Jurist and the spokesperson of the Human Rights Organization in Afrin – Syria, Ibrahim Sheikho said that violations in Afrin by mercenaries are carried out in coordination and a direct order from Turkish intelligence. He confirmed that they documented the identity of several women who appeared in the leaked video in the prisons of the mercenaries of Al-Hamzat.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries intensified its violations against the civilians in Afrin, accelerating the policies of demographic change, looting and destroying the archaeological monuments of the region, in addition, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries push to create a state of insecurity in Afrin with the aim of further restricting the indigenous Afrin residents so they pushed them to leave their homes.

Women and children have had the largest share of violence and violations by Turkey's mercenaries, not to mention the cases of kidnapping and rape in Afrin. The Turkish occupation has recruited Kurdish children to fight with mercenary groups in Libya, including the 15-years-old child Abdo Sheikho, from Mobata.

In this context, "Hawar News Agency" interviewed the jurist and official spokesman for the Human Rights Organization in Afrin - Syria, Ibrahim Sheikho about what is taking place in Afrin canton in the light of the Turkish occupation's violations they documented recently.

Sheikho made it clear in the beginning of his speech that the naked Kurdish, Arab and Yezidi women inside Al-Hamzat headquarter, is not an individual case, but rather confirms that it is general case in all mercenary detention in Afrin, and that there is a flagrant violation of women, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Afrin.

Sheikho affirmed that after the storming Al-Hamzat detentions by the militants of the Al-Ghouta al--sharqia and the transfer of the kidnapped women to the mercenary prisons of the so-called the Military Police and handing them as "trustees". the news was lost again about those women."

Sheikho noted that they identified through the leaked video the identity of some of the kidnapped women, who are "Arin Dali Hassan from the village of Kamyar in Shirawa district, who was kidnapped by the Al-Hamzat mercenaries on the 27th of February of the current year, Haifa Al-Jassem from the Arab component. She has been kidnapped for more than two years on the charge of working as a nurse at Afrin Hospital, Rokan Mulla Taher from the village of Jwaiq, who is among the kidnapped women in the prisons of Al-Hamzat mercenaries.

The human rights defender Ibrahim Sheikho pointed out that the kidnappings and violations against civilians and women in Afrin by mercenaries are carried out in coordination and a direct order from Turkish intelligence.

It is noteworthy that Afrin was considered one of the safest areas during the lifelong of the Syrian crisis for thousands of the displaced fleeing the areas that were witnessing battles and violations by mercenary groups and the Syrian regime forces. Now it has become the most dangerous area in Syria, where all types of violations and crimes are practiced against people, nature and antiquities.
