Thousands of people  protest against Turkish occupation violations

The demonstration started in front of the People's Municipality in Al-Shahba district, in the village of Tal Sosin, in Ahdath District, and roamed the main streets until it stopped in Sardam camp in Al-Shahbah district.

Demonstrators carried banners saying: "Our resistance is our strength and our martyrs are our leaders, we fight for the freedom of women, not for the international silence on the Turkish occupation of the Syrian north, nor for the violations, torture, and kidnapping of women. Stop the ethnic cleansing in Afrin. The killer Erdogan does not differentiate  between the handicapped and the elderly. The occupation is violence. In the spirit of Hevrin's resistance, we eliminate occupation and fascism. "

Women also carried the flags of Kongra Star, Ocalan's pictures,  women victims who were kidnapped and killed in Afrin by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, and pictures of women who were kidnapped by the mercenaries of Al-Hamzat Division of the Turkish occupation.

The demonstrators chanted slogans reviving the resistance of women, denouncing violence against women, and condemning the crimes of the Turkish occupation against civilians.

After the demonstration reached Sardam Camp Square, the participants stood for a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs.

Then member of the Kongra Star Coordination in Rojava, Dalia Hanan, delivered a speech denouncing the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin and on the Syrian north. International silence on these flagrant violations of human rights. "

Hanan noted that the international community keeps silent on all violations against women, children, the elderly and archaeological sites in Afrin and the rest of the occupied areas.

Hanan pointed out that the Afrin region was a safe haven for every Syrian displaced, but it did not enjoy international protection. The violence in it increased, and Turkey's mercenaries committed war crimes against humanity in it by kidnapping women, their imprisonment, and all forms of violence and injustice against them, she said: "These violations are war crimes that international organizations must hold the Turkish state accountable for them."

A speech was also delivered by the co-chair of the Martyrs Families Council  in Fafin district of Shahba, Thuraya Habash, who indicated the violations of the Turkish occupation army against the cemeteries and holy sites, and the shrines of the martyrs.

She said: "For sabotage and tampering, so we, on behalf of the Martyrs Families Council, appeal to all international organizations to end violations of the Turkish occupation and punish them for their crimes against humanity. "

She also appealed to the world women to rise up in the face of the Turkish occupation and strengthen its ranks to address violence against women.

The demonstration concluded by chanting slogans that revive the women and Age Resistance and condemn the Turkish occupation and its crimes.
