Afrin Autonomous Administration : desecrating sanctity of Afrin women, exposes Turkey's criminal history

This came through a written statement issued by the Autonomous Administration of Afrin region regarding violations committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenary groups against the people of Afrin in general and women in particular, and said in the statement:

"At a time when the peoples of the Middle East are fighting a historical struggle against dictatorial and nationalist regimes to obtain their freedom and regain their stolen dignity. northeast Syria's components struggle had its distinguished feature namely, the Kurdish women, that gave this phase its always-aspiring character for freedom and humanity ever. She was the leader, administrative, fighting and guerrilla that organized society and its leaders and defeated the most dangerous terrorist organizations represented by ISIS and other militant organizations openly supported by the Turkish fascist state that puts all its capabilities to suppress the will of the people, especially the Kurds through the occupation of Syrian territories including Afrin , Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê occupation.

Since the occupation of Afrin by Turkey and its mercenaries, they have committed war crimes against humanity, including kidnapping, torture, killing, burning, stealing antiquities and directly targeting women through kidnapping, rape, and harming their sanctity.

The Turkish state and its mercenaries violate on daily basis the divine and international humanitarian laws that called for the protection of people, especially women.

The attempt to desecrate the sanctity of Afrin women exposes Turkey's long history and criminal history in killing and humiliating peoples, as well as exposing the brutality of the militant factions.

We as the Autonomous Administration of Afrin region condemn the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against our people in Afrin, which holds the responsibility of the Turkish state as an occupying country that guarantees the safety and security of citizens.

We also condemn the international silence  and invite them to carry out their responsibility and conduct an international and immediate investigation into the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin. "
