Turkish soldier killed today in Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed today that a soldier and an officer in the ranks of the Turkish occupation forces were wounded, one of them seriously following the explosion that occurred today in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughour in Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a violent explosion was heard in the vicinity of the international M4 Aleppo-Lattakia road from the side of al-Ghassaniyya area in Jisr al-Shughour countryside as a result of targeting machineries of the Turkish forces accompanied by vehicles belonging to the mercenaries with explosive devices.

According to the sources of the Syrian Observatory, the blast wounded a recruiter and an officer from the Turkish forces, one of whom was seriously injured, and they were transferred through Turkish helicopters to the Turkish hospitals in al-Rihaniyya area within Iskenderun.

Russia Today said that a Turkish soldier was killed today in an explosion near the M4 international road in the countryside of Idlib governorate, northwestern Syria.
