Cleric: Erdogan exploits Islam to fulfill his ambitions

The member of the Religious Affairs Foundation in al-Tabqa Sheikh Adnan Aleiwi said that Erdogan is exploiting the compassionate Islamic religion to fulfill his ambitions based on bloodshed and displacement.

The Sheikh added, "He supported the mercenaries and weak souls to kill the people of their country in exchange for money, and then he transferred them to Libya and issued them fatwas of killing from which Islam completely disavowed."

Sheikh Adnan Aleiwi mentioned in the interview held by our agency with him the mask that Erdogan wears in the name of the Islamic religion to legitimize all his crimes and massacres against the peoples.

Aleiwi revealed the issuance of fatwas from the sheikhs of Turkey and the Syrian sheikhs who reside in the confines of Erdogan, which legitimize the bloodshed of innocent people in contrast to what mentioned in the Holy Quran and the noble prophetic sunna that forbade the killing of the human soul, stressing that Erdogan is the first enemy of Islam and the enemy of humanity.

Aleiwi also commemorated hundreds of innocent martyrs and the wounded who have fallen victim to Erdogan's greed in all the occupied areas such as Afrin, Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ain which came after fatwas from imams and sheikhs of Turkey and Syrian sheikhs who sold their religion and conscience in exchange for money.

Aleiwi stressed that Erdogan's policies have become clear to the whole world and his ambitions in Syria and Libya are no longer hidden to anyone, directing a message to the Syrian mercenaries who are inside Syria and who were sent to Libya that Erdogan bought them for a handful of dollars.

He added, "You go to your death and the sums of money and dollars that Erdogan lures you into are the price of your blood. You will be killed there and your dead bodies will fill the wilderness as happened with the first batch that Erdogan sent to Libya."

He noted: "There are some sheikhs or opponents as they call themselves who reside in Turkey fear the oppression of Erdogan, portray him as the leader of Muslims in the world and turn a blind eye to what this man did when he allowed the bloodshed of innocents, orphaned children, killed them, arrested women, and displaced entire communities. Those know the truth of Erdogan, but they sold themselves and their conscience and religion. They are now a tool that Erdogan uses to legitimize his crimes against the people."

At the end of his speech, Aleiwi called on the whole world to hold Erdogan and his mercenaries accountable, as they have caused scores of massacres and displaced thousands of families from their homes.
