Mulla Nawaf: Leader said society’s strength lies in its organization’s

Hundreds of people from northern and eastern Syria met the Leader Abdullah Ocalan during his struggle in the region that lasted for nearly twenty years, including the intellectual Basheer Mulla Nawaf, where he met the Leader Ocalan first on August 15, 1992 in Beqaa governorate in Lebanon.

Basheer Mulla Nawaf made it clear that the leader discussed during the meeting how to unify the Kurdish rank in the modern era, reject the Kurdish forces for their differences, and the need to stand against the enemy. He noted that unity is the basis of liberation.

Mulla Nawaf indicated that he met the Leader Ocalan for the second time in 1996 in Aleppo city, and said: "During that period, the Turkish enemy supported some Kurdish parties in Başûr Kurdistan, and created strife among them. The leader touched on these Turkish practices, and made clear that history repeats itself, the Ottomans practiced that policy against the Kurdish people, beginning with the establishment of the Turkish state."

Mulla Nawaf indicated that the Leader Ocalan stressed the need for the Kurdish people to unite their ranks, circumvent their revolutionary movement, and not to be drawn behind the tricks of the enemy. He said: "The leader made it clear that any movement that was not a popular movement could not withstand the enemy," noting that the resilience of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement so far is the result of the wise policy pursued by the Leader Ocalan.

Mulla Nawaf noted that the leader Ocalan stressed the need to hold a comprehensive Kurdistan national conference during the two meetings to resolve the Kurdish issue, and noted that unity will be enough to ward off the risks posed to the Kurdish people and their cause.

Basheer Mulla Nawaf stressed that the Leader Ocalan stressed during his meetings at length the necessity of organizing society of its ranks from all aspects in order to be ready to face all the risks attached to it, and said, "The Leader said: The strength of society lies in the strength of its organization."
