Taliban adopted blast of explosive device in Afghanistan

NATO announced that in Afghanistan, two American soldiers were killed in a blast of an explosive device targeting an American forces’ vehicle in Kandahar province, south of the country.

Two American soldiers were killed in an explosion of an explosive device targeting a machinery for the American forces in Kandahar south of Afghanistan, which was adopted by the Taliban Movement according to what the NATO announced in the country.

The NATO Forces said in a statement, “Pursuant to the policies of the American Defense Department, the names of the two soldiers who were killed are going to keep secret for 24 hours until their relatives are informed.”

For his part, the Taliban's spokesman, Zubeihullah Mujahed, announced that the Movement adopted the attack, saying that it had led to killing all of the vehicle's passengers.

The spokesperson for the state’s police, Jamal Naseer Barakzai, said that the attack took place in Dand area near Kandahar city. He added, “The foreign forces were patrolling near Kandahar airport when the bombing hit them.”
